Banff to Banjul by Banger
From Banff in Aberdeenshire, Scotland to Banjul in the Gambia, West Africa. Team "barnaclebusters" are taking up the challenge to drive an old banger from Banff to Plymouth, then accross the Channel, through France and Spain. Getting the ferry accross the Straights of Gibraltar to Morrocco. Then traverse the Atlas Mountains and crossing the Western Sahara through Mauritania and Senegal to the Gambian capital Banjul. A journey of over 4,000 miles to sell our car for charity, if we make it!!
Team barnaclebusters are doing this in a Volkswagen Polo 1.2 GT hatchback, imaginetively nicknamed "Minty"
